Temple Christian Academy Tuition & Fees | 2025-2026

While we resolve to maintain small class sizes, we also aim to keep tuition low with minimal fees,
relying in part on the expected and appreciated generosity of our families and community when it comes to fundraising efforts and participation.

New Student Application Fee

$50 (non-refundable)

Annual Tuition

$5,900* (1, 2, or 10-Pay Payment Options available)
5% Discount for tuition paid in full by July 31st

Tuition and the following fees are charged to all students (enrollment and tuition management, books and materials) and are thus eligible to be covered by NC Opportunity Scholarship funds.

*All TCA students are eligible for the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship and/or TCA Grant of $900.

Early Withdrawal, Placement Test, and Breakfast Club Fees are not charged to all students and are thus ineligible to be covered by NC Opportunity Scholarship funds.

Early-Withdrawal Fee

$500 fee assessed (as well as no refund on current tuition) for students who are withdrawn before the end of the school year.

Placement Test Fee (for all new students 1st Grade and up)

Before School Care Options

There are five-day ($550) and three-day ($425) annual plans, as well as a $5 per day drop-in option for students to be dropped off before 8:25am, as early as 7:30am.

After School Care Options

We currently have Johnson’s TKD Martial Arts, New Bern Gymnastics, C-Stone and New Bern YMCA picking up daily.

TCA Scholarship Opportunities | 2025-2026

All Temple Christian Academy students are eligible to apply for the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship.

Temple Christian Academy is a Direct Payment School with the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship, administered by the NCSEAA. Families interested in this scholarship are encouraged to apply when the application period opens each February. More information and the application can be found at  https://www.ncseaa.edu/.

Additionally, families are encouraged to apply for the Temple Christian Academy Grant. This can be done during the enrollment process.

There is an option to choose “Temple Christian Academy New Bern - New Bern” and families who are unsure can also choose “Unknown.” To be clear, being awarded the Opportunity Scholarship and being accepted to attend TCA are two separate processes. New families or families with newly entering students should apply to the school as well as for the scholarship.

There is a chart as well as new income calculator on the resources page of their website that displays an estimation for what you could be eligible for based on your family’s gross income and how many people are in your household.
